1 postcard of tourist attractions in Kyoto

Sanjusangendo is a temple of the Tendai sect located in Sanjusangendo Mawari-cho, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto. The main deity is the Thousand-Armed Kannon. The official name of the building is Rengeoin Hondo. It is located in the enclave of Myohoin Temple, which is also located in Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto City, and is owned and managed by Myohoin Temple. Originally, it was a Buddhist temple built by Emperor Go-Shirakawa in his own detached palace, and the name Rengeoin is derived from "Rengeo," another name for the thousand-armed Kannon (Goddess of Mercy). It is the 17th temple of the 33 sacred places of the Kannon Sacred Shrine in for home use. However, I am selling it because I no longer use it.
