Please Please Please... make sure you have read my description and have looked very carefully at the photos, as well as messaged me for more photos if you need or want to see them and asked as many questions as needed before offerding or purchasing this item. I dont want to waste your time or mine and I am being absolutely as upfront and clear as humanly possible on the condition of this sword.
yes its authenticate and numbered and at one time was in a display case at a store I owned. This sword is hard to come by and sell for quite a bit when they do. They continue to go up in value since Ive had it.
I was in an accident and everything was immediately put into storage. Due to Floridas extreme heat, this sword did not do well in storage. The mother of pearl piece that goes on the top became unglued and was lost. the leather has started to come apart so it must have been wrapped with bonded leather and should or could be re-wrapped. On the gold section there is some type of coating that seems to be flaking off. The wooden holder has scratches on it and is dinged in many places.
This sword has pitting! The metal has quite a bit of pitting on one side (especially on the bottom) and some on the other side with the quote but a smaller amount.
This sword needs TLC and it is AS-is. Please ask for what you need to be comfortable buying it.
I may have the certificate that came for it in my files, I will look for it but I cant promise it.
All that said, its still a great sword and would be a great purchase and hard to come by.
