I remember rushing out get these so that I would never forget. I bought them at a 7-11 at the bottom of the building at 22nd and Sherman downtown Denver. I remember thinking “I wonder if I will hold onto these forever.” Now I just feel empty when I see them. They have been in a plastic bin their entire life, same one I put them in on the 12th.

I just thought a historian or someone interested in what the world, the nation, and Colorado looked like in 2001 at its worst day in history. It’s fascinating what we valued in those days and what we do now.

There are no missing adverts, no missing pages. I’ve never read them in fact I believe this is the first time I have opened them ever, to take photos. They smell really good, I love old papers. Not looking to make money just thought people who appreciate these things might want a copy.

The rock mountain news was a great paper but is no longer in business.
