This creature resembles a giant ant with large pincers. It's usually a normal enemy, but appeared as a boss in FF4. It sometimes appears in underground areas, and usually is involved in the story by attacking a weak or innocent person.

Worried that her Children may have wandered into the Antlion's Nest, a concerned Citizen petitioned a hunt for his Mark. |
